Chicago’s Local CSA

CSA is absolutely amazing!! Everything you could imagine from a farm to table organization!!! The produce is amazing, the communication is so kind and courteous and the delivery option is amazing!!! Thank you so much!!!

Not only am I supporting a local farm (in the city!), but I'm getting high quality, in-season produce. Sooooo much better than shopping at the grocery store. I'm also fairly busy, so having someone else decide what I'm eating for the week is helpful. :)

I've LOVED getting my UGC CSA. It's like a little party every Saturday seeing all the beautiful produce in my box!

My CSA had an unintended side effect of lessening my depression and anxiety symptoms, which has inhibited my capacity to cook healthy food for myself. Driving down to the farm and picking up my share brightened me up, and then helped me build healthy habits toward having leafy greens in my daily diet. You all put the “heal” in healthy!

It was so fun trying new foods (like pawpaws!) and making tea from the herbs we got.

I cannot recommend UGC CSA enough. We’re buying way less at the store every week because most of our weekly food and take is coming from the CSA bags. My husband and I find joy in seeing our ability to be creative in the kitchen with all the different ingredients we get in our CSA. Our meals are delicious and have improved significantly.

This is my first time signing up for the UGC CSA box and I love it! I’ve told all of my friends about it! The food is richer in taste and it’s a simple luxury that I am so thankful for.

I love knowing where my food is coming from and I appreciate that it is appropriate to the season, fresh and responsibly grown. But the best treat of all is how delicious everything tastes. Excellent experience.

It was a great way to support a great organization without ever having to leave my house! The logistics of the deliveries was flawless and all the produce was delicious. Communication about what would be in my produce share weekly was also great! Would recommend and continue participating!

Our CSA has been wonderful. Everything is fresh, delicious, and was delivered quickly and easily. We received some items we'd never used before, and it was fun to find creative ways to use what we had. Best of all, our family ate WAY more veggies that we would have otherwise! I can't recommend this CSA enough!
