Plan a visit to one of Urban Growers Collective’s urban farms! Led by UGC staff and Youth Corps ambassadors, the tours will teach you more about the the variety of crops we grow, how they’re grown, and their culinary and medicinal properties.

*For parties of 10 people or more, please RSVP to info@urbangrowerscollective.org with your name, contact phone number, and the size of the group.

All tour participants must sign a liability waiver.

Grant Park ‘Art on the Farm’ Tours

Our Youth Corps ambassadors offer free tours of our potager urban farm in Grant Park right in the heart of downtown Chicago. This farm models how to grow a variety of crops in a beautiful and sustainable manner.

From the beginning of July through August 8th, tours are offered at 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

The farm is located on the northwest corner of Congress Parkway and Columbus Boulevard, kitty-corner to Buckingham Fountain.

South Chicago Farm Tours

Clara Schaffer Park is a 14-acre food and fitness park is a collaborative project of Urban Growers Collective and the Chicago Park District. On the tour, you’ll see our 7-acre growing space which houses a geodesic greenhouse, urban livestock including pygmy goats and bees, and our medicinal herb gardens.

Tours are available at our South Chicago Farm every Saturday from April through October at 9:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Tours cost $10.00 per adult and $5.00 per child 12 and under.
